1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. PICSEL uses localStorage (a browser storage mechanism similar to cookies) for essential functionality only.
2. Essential Storage
We use localStorage to store your authentication session token (Supabase auth). This is strictly necessary for the platform to function and cannot be disabled while using PICSEL.
3. What We Do Not Use
PICSEL does not use: tracking cookies, third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.), advertising cookies, social media tracking pixels, or any non-essential cookies.
4. Session Storage
We use sessionStorage temporarily during the purchase flow to pass postcard data between pages. This data is automatically deleted when you close the browser tab.
5. Managing Your Data
You can clear all PICSEL data from your browser by: opening Developer Tools, navigating to Application > Storage, and clicking "Clear site data". This will log you out.
